This last year, I had the chance to go through motors training to be able to ride a police motorcycle while on duty!! It was a two week full time training class and it was probably the funnest training I have been to so far in law enforcement but it was super difficult!! There are a bunch of patterns that you have to learn and then you have to test on it at the end...and these patterns were hard!!! Some of them are tight circles, intersection patterns, tight 90 degree turns, and a mixture of a lot of other stuff. All of the motorcycles have to be taped up with durable rubber so they aren't damaged when they are tipped over or laid down. I only crashed a few times.....approximately.....around there!! :) A cool part though was the training was at Larry H. Miller Motor Speedway in Tooele so we got to take our bikes out on the racetrack!! That was a blast!! This is a video that Stacy took while one of my buddies and I were riding in another city's parade; we're the ones in the darker (and more awesome, of course) uniforms!!!
