I still remember exactly what I was doing when Dane called me to tell me Britany was in labor and was going to the hospital!! I was with my other detective buddies walking out the door to get a drink when I got a call from Dane!! I was so excited I didn't know what to think!! Dane told us we could come hang out with them at the hospital while they were waiting! I called Stacy and we went over and spent the day with them.
Britany started pushing in the evening and Ty was ultimately born. I remember the first time I saw him, Britany was holding him!! She was so happy and she told Stacy and I to come up and see Ty. When I saw him, he was just perfect with his little fingers and little nose!! I think all four of us would have a difficult time describing the type of feelings we had that night!! It was such an incredible experience!!
Dane invited us down to the nursery while Ty was cleaned up! It was so fun to see him get his first little bath!! He was not liking it at all but every time you would cuddle him up and hold him, he would get content and fall asleep!!! We are so grateful that Dane and Britany allowed us to be so involved in the birth process and in being able to share that special experience with them at the hospital!!!
This photo was taken while Britany was in labor at the hospital!! It was fun just to spend a few hours with them talking about things and joking around!! They both make us laugh!!
