Family Vacation :)

We just got back from a 9 day family vacation!!!  It was so much fun.  We headed out Sunday after Hannah (Cameron's sister farewell) and stopped in Vegas to see my sister and her family.  We stayed with them Sunday night and then headed to San Diego Monday morning.  Monday night we just went out to dinner and hung out since we had been traveling most the day.  Tuesday we went to Sea World.  This was a blast.  Cameron's family met us there.  We all loved it.  Ty especially loved seeing all the animals.  The first thing we did at Sea World was go to the Shamu show and we sat on the front row.  It was awesome to see the whales so close but not so awesome when they splashed us :)

 Waiting for show to start.  We bought Ty a Shamu that blows bubbles.  He loves it.  I think that is the best toy we have ever bought him.  He is entertained with it for hours.

 Ty hated when Shamu splashed us.  We got soaked.  I think he hated it because the water was freezing.  Luckily it was pretty hot outside so we dried really fast.

 So much for getting ready that day since this is the first thing we did.  I should have just put my hair in a pony tail.  Anyway, we got SOAKED!

 The Dolphins!!!  This show was amazing.  They had the dolphins doing tricks, but they also had divers and acrobats doing tricks.  It was awesome.

 We fed the Mante Rays (I don't know how to spell it, sorry).  It was so cool.  You put a fish between your fingers and then stick your hand in the water up to your elbow and then they swim over your hand and eat the fish.  They suck it out of your fingers.  It feels like a vacuum as they suck up the fish.  It was so cool.  

 On Wednesday we went to the San Diego Zoo and then went to the beach in the afternoon.  These turtles were huge and they would just sit and look up at you.  It was pretty cool.  This zoo is huge!  I should have worn my running shoes.  You definitely get a workout walking around that zoo.

 Ty was so exhausted, this is the position he fell asleep in.  We were looking at the elephants and he was talking and then we went to walk away and he was asleep. He was so tired.

 First time at the beach!!!  Ty loved playing in the sand.  He didn't love getting in the water because it was so cold.  He loved running out to the water and then as the waves came he would run away from them laughing like they were chasing him.  It was really cute.

Thursday we drove to Santa Monica were we stayed with Cameron's aunt until Sunday morning.  We went to the beach some more and hung out with his aunt and cousins.  It was so relaxing and the weather was perfect.  Sunday morning we drove back to Vegas and stayed with my sister until Tuesday morning when we left to come home.  It was a much needed and super fun vacation!!!
