First Trip to Lagoon

My dad's extended family began their first annual family reunion this year at Lagoon. It was so great for Stacy and me to be able to see so many people which we hadn't seen forever. Stacy and I were really interested to see how Ty would do on the rides. He loves cars, trucks, trains, airplanes, and everything else that moves as well as riding in the car and my truck with me when he can. Initially, Ty wasn't too excited about the rides but they started to grow on him.

There was one ride with Jeeps which would quickly swing you around a corner and then slow down. Ty would laugh hysterically each time we would go around one of the two turns. He thought it was so funny!! lol It was great to see everyone and we are pretty sure Ty had a great time. Next year, he will be able to go on, and will probably want to go on, more rides than this year.

This was the first ride he went on. They were little rocket ship things. His face had a look of hmm...I don't know about this, mixed with a little bit of boredom, mixed with am I supposed to be in this thing??

Ty didn't want to cooperate with the camera!!

Ty giving kisses right before the carousel started. He kept giving the horse hugs too, lol!

Ty was still in his "I don't know" stage with this one but I think he ended up liking it.

Haha, Ty looks like he is crying in this picture but he is laughing so hard that it looks like he is crying. He absolutely loved this Jeep ride...we could have been there all night on this ride if it had been up to him.

Each family at the reunion got to pick out some different bandanas for the day. We found these police ones that were way cool. Somehow, we got Ty to leave it on long enough for the picture.

Ty with his aunt Shelby and his two little cousins.

My dad got arrested by lagoon cowboy actors for telling bad jokes...where have they been the last couple of decades??  LOL

Ty quickly learned that waiting is no fun. This was him waiting in line at the Jeep ride. Poor kid...he looked so sad he had to wait. At least he learned some patience though.

Ty really liked this whale ride. We love this kid so much!! He always makes us laugh and smile!!!!  :)
