Ice Castles

We went up to Midway to see the Ice Castle's with some friends.  It was so cool!  It was the first time we have ever been to ice castles.  Ty had a blast running through all of them and playing.  We highly recommend going to see them. (sorry pictures are not great.   They are from my phone)

Christmas Time!!!

Christmas this year was a lot of fun. It was great to see Ty understand Christmas a little more and understand what a present was! He is still young enough though that he would open one present, see it was a truck, and not want to open all of his other presents because he wanted to play with the truck, LOL. Maybe next year he will grasp the concept that if one present has a truck, all of the other presents might also possibly have a truck. Ty was also not scared of Santa Clause this year which was great. However, Ty referred to him not as Santa but as "Ho Ho Ho" or "Ho." I am still not quite sure what Santa thinks about being referred to as a Ho!!  :)  But seeing Ty got spoiled again by Stacy's and my family, I don't think Santa was too offended by it.

Although I was tired for most of the day because I had worked the night before and had an exciting (to say the least) night at work, Stacy and Ty were rockin and rollin' the whole day! We started off by going to my Dad's house, then my mom's house, and then Stacy's parents' house. We had a lot of fun during the full day and ate enough to last a few days!! Merry Christmas!  :)

This was Ty with his birth-father Dane during a Christmas visit. They have so much fun together.

Ty loved being thrown up into the air by Ty.

Dane gave Ty a pirate ship that he could ride on and play with for Christmas.

He obviously loved it!!

Waiting for Santa

...and still waiting for Santa

...and finally, Santa has arrived!!

I love Ty's look on his face, LOL, he is looking Santa like he's crazy.

Ty with his birth-mom Britany during a Christmas visit. We went to Pizza Pie Cafe...we love that place!!!

Ty loves books which is one of the things Britany got for him. She also got him a power tool set that had a drill, a saw, and other tools that light up and make noise. He loved them!

This was Christmas morning. We got him a trampoline to jump on to hopefully deter him from jumping on all of the beds. It was pretty cool to see how high he could get on it. We are already pre-saving for the E.R. bill

This was at my dad's house Christmas morning; this is Ty with his cousin Brian. He like the reindeer antlers a lot.

It was a Cars-themed Christmas at my dad's house for Ty

with a Cars chair too!

This was at my mom's house during Christmas day. He was spoiled there too!

My parents got him a wagon which he loved.

This was later in the day at Stacy's parents' house. It was great for Ty to see all of his cousins; he loved playing with them.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Thanksgiving

Each Thanksgiving for the last few years, we have been invited to to a cabin belonging to Stacy's uncle near Heber. The cabin is incredible and the people that come to dinner are so much fun to be with!! This year, unfortunately, I had to work in the afternoon for the rest of the day and so I did not make it to the cabin. Hearing about it though, it sounded like Ty had so much fun hanging out with mom, Grandma and Grandpa, and all of his aunts, uncles, and cousins. We are so grateful for Stacy's aunt and uncle and the love they've always shown us!! These are some pictures from the day  :)

Ty with Stacy near the fireplace. Yes, that is a Barbie car, LOL. All he sees though is a car, he loves cars and trucks, haha

Ty with his Grandpa Barton and his baby cousin, Brooklyn. She has been starting to laugh lately and is such a beautiful baby. Ty loves to hold her and sit by "Baby Brooklyn"

Ty with his Grandma and Grandpa Barton. He thought that little clapper was the best thing in the world (thank goodness it somehow did not make it to our house...   :)

Cousins, brothers, and sisters dancing the night away

Ty helping grandpa play his guitar. Ty has a toy guitar that he likes to play with. Maybe this is a sign that when he gets older we need to get him a guitar and some lessons. As if he already won't have enough problems with the girls though...maybe we won't get a guitar  :)

Trains!!!

Ty and our nephew Bridger are obsessed with trains right now,  so we decided we would take them on the front runner train.  We rode the train from Draper to Ogden, got lunch in Ogden and then rode the train back home.  They had a blast!

Ty and Bridger looking out the window
My sister and her new baby Brooklyn came along for the ride.  We met Shellie's husband in Ogden for lunch.
My other sister Katie and her little girl Brielle.  My mom came too but we didn't get a picture with her in it, oops
Getting ready to get on the Train.  We love doing little activities like this and seeing Ty get so excited.

Barton Halloween Party!!

Every year, Stacy's family has a Halloween Party. They are a lot of fun! We usually dress up and make funny foods. We also usually play fun games. This year, we had a miniature golf hole tournament where we had to putt the ball into a pumpkin for four different distances back. We also had a candy corn toss and we played Halloween Bingo. Ty and Stacy dressed up like homeless people, LOL. We painted Ty's face with some black makeup to make him look dirty and homeless. You can't see it in the picture but Ty had a little cardboard sign that said, "Will work for candy." It was a lot of fun!

Stacy and Ty posing for the camera. We tried to get Ty to hold his sign down but he wouldn't, lol

Stacy's niece, Tatum, getting ready to show off her golfing skills.

One of the family friends there trying her luck!

The candy corn toss was difficult!! We had to stand way back. The big bowl was 1 point and the small bowls were 5 points. Yeah...it was hard  :)

Somebody hitting a horrible shot...probably was me!

Shellie and Tatum throwing candy corn, look at Tatum's determination!!

Ty kept driving his truck in my way...that's my excuse for why all my shots were so bad...  ;)

Stacy and Shellie have tons of fun!!
